Aikido technique weapon

Aikido Weaponry is All About Techniques Aikido is a kind of martial arts which is often considered as modern Japanese budo. This martial art's emphasis is on the spiritual and philosophical development of one's self. The word "Aikido" basically means "The Way of Harmony with the Spirit." It is the study of the natural laws and how they harmonize with the mind and body. Aikido is encompassing. You will be taught to use both armed and unarmed forms of combat and self defense. For unarmed attacks, you have at your disposal a variety of throws, strikes, joint-lock techniques, vital points and even those so-called mystery attacks wherein you attack the opponent without laying a hand on him or her. Meanwhile, armed attacks involve the use of every kind of weapon imaginable. From swords to knives, from sticks to spears, practically everything can be utilized in Aikido as a weapon. However, in general most Aikido classes are conducted with exclusive training with the use of the jo or staff, tanto or knife and the bokken or sword. These three serve as the main weapons used in Aikido. Even though Aikido appears to be using more unarmed forms and techniques of martial arts, there are a couple of reasons why weapons are studied in Aikido classes and training sessions. Aikido has a strong weapon martial arts foundation and any training with weapons will only reinforce the basic techniques of the martial art. Aikido founder Morihei Ueshiba, known to his students and Aikido practitioners as ?-sensei which means Great Teacher, was particularly skilled with the staff. He was able to integrate weapon techniques with basic Aikido movements. But among the multitude of weapons out there the sword has the most influence on the development stages of Aikido techniques. Through weapons training, an Aikido practitioner will be able to measure the distance between attacks. Also called ma-ai, the proper distancing is very important in timing an attack and defending one. And speaking of defense, weapons training is also necessary since advanced Aikido techniques involve defending against people bearing all sorts of weapons. In order to practice each advanced move safely, Aikido practitioners needed to be familiar with each weapons' capabilities. Therefore, with Aikido weapons training, one will be able to develop his skills, intuitiveness and reflexes in both attacking and defending movements. Among the weapons used in Aikido weapons training include the katana, the single edged, slightly curved sword famous in the world as the sword of the samurai. In Aikido weapons training, you will also be taught to handle, hold, fight and defend using the tanto which in actuality is a knife or a short blade. The tanto was also extremely popular amongst the men and women who lived by the samurai code during their time. Another bladed weapon used in Aikido weapons training is the ninja-to. The ninja-to are swords used by those mysterious ninjas. Samurais back then also have wakizashi swords at their disposal. Wakizashi are usually two feet long and are paired with the katana. The j? meanwhile is a four-foot long wooden staff used by not only Aikido but by other martial artists as well. When Aikido techniques are fused with jo, the principle is called aiki-j? which involves an integration of Aikido techniques in Aikido which uses the j? to illustrate Aikido's principles with a weapon.

Self empowerment using people unlock your social potential

Power through the people Have you come across a person who is so naturally friendly that when you put him inside a room of strangers, he'll be friends with almost everyone in no time? We call such a people-person, someone unbelievably nice and charismatic that he can charm anyone into doing anything. A socially-empowered person achieves so much greatness, basically because of the people that catapult him to success. He earns the trust and all-out support of the people, whom he had helped before. He never runs out of help. He can do anything with the plethora of people behind him. All because he knows he maximizes his social potential! See, if you know your social skills and you make use of them, you will reach self-empowerment. Self-empowerment is making a general overhaul in your life and turning yourself into a happier and more successful person. If you can be one of those people-persons, then I can't see any reason why you will not succeed. You just have to know how to start. 1. Be genuine. Hypocrisy will just bring you all the way down. Be genuinely nice and interested to people. Once they perceive that you are Mr. Hypocrite with selfish intentions, you might as well say goodbye to self-empowerment. 2. Be the greatest listener that you can be. To earn the love and trust of the people, listen to their problems and sympathize with them. Do not just hear them out, listen to them with your heart. Make eye contact when the person talks to you. Listen as if every word matters, and it does. Brownie points when they find out that there is a confidante in you. 3. Laugh out loud. I do not mean that you force yourself to laugh for every joke cracked by someone, albeit you do not find it funny at all. This means finding humor in things and not being too darn serious. A person oozing with an awesome sense of humor attracts crowds and eventually, attracts success. 4. Don't forget yourself. In the process of fluttering around like a social butterfly, you might forget yourself, allowing everyone to push you over. Remember, love and value yourself before anyone else. If you deem yourself respectable and worthy of affection, people will flock to you and not trample on you. 5. Do random acts of kindness. You don't have to do a John Rockefeller and blow your savings to charity. Little acts of kindness matters the most, and this can be as simple as giving someone a surprise you-take-care card or helping an elderly cross the street. When we were kindergarten students, kindness was taught to us and greatly practiced. Now is the time to revive the good deeds and this time, let them stay for good. 6. Contact your old friends. Sad how some friendships are destined to goodbye, but thanks to technology, you can do something about it. Relive the good old days by flipping your yearbook and look for the great people whom you want to communicate with again. Adding these old friends to your roster of support peers will surely make you feel good all over. 7. Develop your personality. Are you grouchy, grumpy and generally morose? Whoa, you can't go through life with those. Get rid of the bad traits and habits that perpetually hamper your growth. And really, who wants a grouchy friend anyway? 8. Be confident. Be able to stride to the other corner of the room and introduce yourself to people with that winning smile of yours. Just remember: be confident, not arrogant. 9. Practice control. When angry, don't snap at anyone. Never throw a tantrum. Stay calm and collected. Be adult enough to take control of situation and transform your anger into something more productive and passive. As soon as people think your anger goes to volcanic proportions easily, they will find it hard to come to you. 10. Keep nurturing your relationships. Your relationship with your family, friends and significant others is too precious that you must not neglect it whatever happens. Go out and have fun with them. Do things together. Happiness will never fly from your side as long as the people who matter the most are close to you. In the end, using people for self-empowerment means becoming a better and more lovable person. It's a win-win situation: the people know they can turn to you anytime and vice versa.

Stop the tresses from color burnout that is

Finding the perfect hair colorist can be as difficult as locating a needle in a haystack, and affording to pay that pro every five weeks for maintenance may be an even more difficult challenge. Here are a few tips and tricks to make your most recent salon visit last just a little bit longer. * Try to avoid subjecting your freshly colored hair to the harsh chlorine found in swimming pools. Sure, a dip in the pool might sound fun, but the chemicals can damage your color and, in some cases, may even cause lighter hair to turn a faint shade of green. You may cringe at the thought of a swimming cap, but it will prevent your color from getting distorted. * Invest in a shampoo and conditioner that are formulated to keep your new hue looking as bright and beautiful as the day you walked out of the salon. Nature's Gate Organics Fruit Blend shampoos and conditioners provide UV protection and help keep color-treated hair from fading. The UV protection is especially important because, just like your skin, your locks need their share of environmental protection as well. At a suggested retail price of $7.99, Nature's Gate products can be found at health food stores, pharmacies, drugstores and grocery stores nationwide. * When you know that you are scheduled for a hair color appointment, skip shampooing the day before. The increased natural oils provide more sticking power for the color. You'll find that your shade is brighter and bolder than ever. * A few days before you color, deep condition your locks with an at-home treatment to prep them for the service. The hair color process is drying and can cause damage. Conditioning your hair will prevent breakage and enhance your hair's health. The next time you walk out of the salon, don't just heave a sigh of relief that your work is done for the next few weeks. Remember that with proper upkeep, your new hue can outlast its normal expiration date and hopefully save you a few bucks in the process.

Sleep apnea the facts about this important sleep disorder

Sleep apnea is a common problem in the adult population, and is characterised by a reduction or stoppage of breathing when someone is asleep. There are 2 main types - obstructive (which is more common) and central, but also a mixed type which is a combination of both obstructive and central. Treatment for sleep apnea can be nonsurgical or surgical. What is apnea? In layman's terms it means that someone has stopped breathing for about 10 seconds or perhaps more. These episodes of apnea have a tendency to occur more often when a person is asleep, thus disrupting the sleep, and often wakening the sleeper up. Doctors use various indexes which measure the severity of the sleep apnea to decide on their treatment options. What causes sleep apnea? In the case of central sleep apnea it happens when the brain fails to send signals to the respiratory muscles. This is most common in babies, and in adults with heart problems, but can also be caused by some medicines. In obstructive sleep apnea the message from the brain to the respiratory muscles gets through but breathing fails through an obstruction preventing the flow of air. Mixed sleep apnea is caused by a combination of these failures. Obstructive sleep apnea affects more men than women, and is more common and has increased severity in obese people. What are the symptoms of obstructive sleep apnea? Not only does it disrupt sleep, it also causes heart problems and high blood pressure, and increased risk of stroke. Sufferers are also more likley no have accidents at work and on the road through lack of concentration related to not getting enough sleep. How is obstructive sleep apnea treated? There are several non surgical options varying from behavioral changes to medications and dental appliances. Behavioral changes may simply involve getting the sufferer to change their sleeping position, as most apneas seem to occur whilst sleeping on the back. A change in diet and lifestyle with consequent reduction in obesity can also markedly reduce the severity of symptoms. However, these changes are easier to talk about than to implement. Dental appliances are sometimes used for mild cases of obstructive sleep apnea - these work by holding the jaw and tongue forward and the palate up to prevent airway closure. One of the best non surgical treatments is called CPAP or continuous positive airway pressure. This is a machine which delivers heated and humidified air under pressure through a mask to the sufferer whilst they sleep. The machine is light and portable, and most people quickly get used to the noise the machine makes, and to wearing a mask. Surgical options for obstructive sleep apnea include palate implants, reducing the size of the tongue, procedures on the jaws, and surgery of the nasal passages. Surgery should not be undertaken lightly because of the underlying risks of anesthesia and complications from the surgery itself. If you suffer from obstructive sleep apnea or know anyone who does, then it is important that you seek qualified medical advice as soon as possible. Continuing your life without recourse to treatment leaves you open to much higher risk of heart attack, stroke, high blood pressure, and even sudden death. Seek specialist help today.

Online marketing how to set up a system for success

It’s all in the Name Whether you have a local brick and mortar business or work from home at an online business, you’ll need Internet marketing to grow your bottom line. There are several key factors in learning how to make money online, none of which require you to be technically proficient. Internet marketing takes time, effort, patience and sound choices of market, target audience and advertising methods. Some of your Internet marketing savvy comes from trial and error. Whether you work from home as owner of a Web-based business or you manage a large corporation learning the ins and outs of Internet marketing is crucial to your company’s profits. The first step of Internet marketing is creating your business Web site. To do this you must first register your domain name. It’s important that your domain name be closely aligned to your business name and clarify what it is you do - or be intriguing enough for consumers to want to go there to determine all you offer. Your Web address should be short, and as much as possible it should be something that consumers who know your business name can guess at. Internet marketing is about ease and instant gratification. Consumers don’t want to work hard or spend a lot of time finding out about you and your firm, or trying to find it on the Web. Whether you have an online business or a brick and mortar location, the basic Web site rules are the same. The best Internet marketing tactic to use, and the first step in how to make money online, is to own your domain. Don’t tag onto a platform that advertises its name too. geocities / mamacooks is not nearly as successful an Internet marketing ploy for Mama Cooks, LLC, as is mama-cooks. net. However, mamacooks is so much better, and so much easier to guess at and find than mama-cooks. net. It’s especially bad for a retail site to use a hyphen, and while. net is not terrible it’s the kiss of death if there is a mamacooks out there already and you opt for. net as a result. Eight times out of ten consumers will end up talking to, and doing business with your competitor without ever getting to your Web site. In a nutshell, Internet marketing for your online business starts with an effective Web site, and that Web site starts with a terrific domain name.

How not to lose 10000 dollars in the casinos

: For the last several years one Saturday of each month some friends and I would get in the car and drive to Atlantic City for a night of gambling, and it has always been one of the best days of the month. We have never really been big gamblers we usually just stayed with the slots or the roulette table, until six months ago when someone decided we should learn to play poker because that’s where you can win lots of money fast. So we all started playing poker in a weekly Friday night game together till we were good enough to play in the casinos. For practice I would play Online Poker in some free multiplayer poker rooms and eventually I felt confident enough to join an online casino poker room for real money. At first I was losing hand after hand but the more hands I played the better of an understanding I was getting for the game, and every night I started making less and less mistakes and I actually started to win a few hands. After about 2 or 3 months of this we decided it was time and we all drove to the casino to play some Poker. We did ok for first timers, no one got rich but no one came home broke either. We decided that instead of our monthly trips we should start going every Saturday, and soon we would be leaving every Friday after work and coming back late Sunday night Last month we decided to join this small tournament, the buy inn was only a few hundred each and the prize was 10,000 dollars, so we all decided to go for it and to try to start making real money playing poker, and in the end it paid off, I am still not sure how but I won the poker tournament and the 10,000 dollars grand prize. Before the tournament we had all agreed that if one of us won it we would go out and have a big party with the money, but I had a much better idea I decided that I could turn this money into a much larger amount and since it was easy to win the first time it should be easy to do it again. Now from my personal experience I know that the Roulette table is a great way to double your money fast, there were many nights id have 20 dollars in my poker before leaving the casino and I would manage to double it on one spin of the roulette wheel, and now I had ten thousand dollars and could walk away with twenty thousand in just minutes. So against the advice of all my friends I looked for a roulette table where the same color had won three times in a row. Once I finally found a roulette table that had come up red 3 times in a row it I place all my winnings on black and what luck it came out red again and I nearly passed out on the casino floor. Ever since that night I have not won anything I have played. The best piece of advice I can give anyone out there is to not let winning go to your head. If you are up in the casino, go home and enjoy the money. It is important to remember that gambling in a casino or an online casino is supposed to be fun and relaxing and if it is not go read a book or something.

Are web directories any good

Since I started promoting my website, I came across a wide array of web directories, and I have to admit this question has been bugging me since then. Are Web Directories any good for the Internet? Let's start by getting the obvious out of the way first. The main purpose of web directories is to promote web sites. This isn't usually done directly, by directing users through their links, since web directories don't get that much traffic, but indirectly. The way this indirect promotion works is that, after a website is registered in several web directories, search engines' crawlers see the links and count them, increasing the page rank and search results for the specific web page. Ok, this is fine, but what about the surfers? Let's be honest, 99 percent of the people that visit web directories are web masters that want to promote their web sites by getting a few extra links. Web directories have never been too attractive to surfers. But can they become attractive? Well, my guess is they can. And the only way to do so is to become more user friendly and to provide surfers with useful content. What I mean by this is that web directories can become popular websites if, instead of providing a list of mediocre websites, ordered by the ammount of money each one of them payed for their listing in the web directory, they would provide a list of the top websites the internet has to offer for each category. Such a list should be maintained by the web masters, by searching the web and choosing the top websites. Of course, this means that you can't just wait for people to submit any websites to your directory. You will have to get working on finding the websites surfers might be interested in. Another cool thing one could add is to allows userse to rate the websites that are listed. This is a very nice addition, since it adds an interactive element to the website and orders the websites by the ratings given by surfers. My previous experiences with web directories or 'Top 100' websites have been appaling. All of those websites were filled with second grade links, the kind of websites you are expecting to receive malware from to be honest. Well, this type of 'Tom's top 100 websites' linking to 'Jerry's top car magazine', containing 2 months old news simply doesn't work. This is not what surfers want to see. Neither the MS-Dos type graphics in 32 colours, nor the sponsored links or suggested websites. I really hope that the future will bring better web directories to the scene. Let's be honest! There are so many great websites out there that surfers don't know about, and so little places where you can find out about them. Well, this is my opinion on web directories. I hope you enjoyed reading it!

Hello from ottawa ottawa s byward market and the mardi gras experience at fat tuesdays

After our arrival in Ottawa this afternoon and a very brief rest at our hotel, we went out in search of a satisfying dinner. The Lord Elgin Hotel is just about 15 minutes walk away from the Historic ByWard Market area, which is one of Ottawa's main entertainment areas. Winterlude is a great time because during this winter festival, many of Ottawa's restaurants offer entertainment and special events. Our destination was Fat Tuesday's, a New Orleans-style restaurant that is known for its Cajun Creole cuisine and its contemporary dishes. After we refreshed ourselves and got organized, we headed off at about 6:45 and started our walk toward the ByWard Market, Ottawa’s prime entertainment area. We crossed the Laurier Bridge, which is the setting of quite a few of my husband’s anecdotes about Ottawa’s winter cold which he got to experience in full force during his time at the University of Ottawa in the early 1980s. We too noticed that there was a stiff fresh breeze coming off the Rideau Canal and by pure coincidence we did a smart thing: we headed into the Rideau Centre, Ottawa’s largest shopping centre. For about 15 minutes we got to walk inside past all the retail stores, totally sheltered from the biting wintery wind. Well, it didn’t take us long at all to get to the heart of the ByWard Market, and a friendly guy at a Beavertail sales booth (Beavertails are Ottawa’s famous trademark pastry) gave us directions to Fat Tuesday’s, home of Ottawa’s Mardi Gras experience. Once inside this stylish yet cozy bar/restaurant we had a chance to get a lay of the land from Manny Garcia who’s the general manager and one of the co-owners. He told us that Fat Tuesday’s was created about 4 years ago and is an independently owned restaurant (not part of any restaurant chain). Fat Tuesday's combines an upscale Cajun/Creole kitchen with live entertainment and great friendly service, and it’s a place where people of all ages congregate. When we were there the place was packed and the waitresses were dressed up in bustiers and some were wearing face masks in keeping with the Mardi Gras theme. The staff seemed to have a lot of fun and they enjoyed interacting with the customers. Our appetite had been building up appropriately and for me, the escargots in a garlic-white wine sauce were just the thing to warm up the palate. After this tasty appetizer I followed up with a Mediterranean salad of baby greens with goat cheese and a citrus vinaigrette. Manny came over and persuaded us to try the Pacific rim seared tuna with a pepper crust in a sweet teriyaki sauce, accompanied by shaved ginger and a wasabi mayonnaise. A delicate and tasty treat. We even had a chance to meet the chef himself. Executive chef Neil Baker told us about himself and we found out that we had a true cosmopolitan world traveler in front of us. As the child of diplomatic parents, Neil was born in Singapore and has also lived in Barbados, Kenya and Thailand. He’s run restaurants in Toronto, Vancouver, Los Angeles, New York City and now Ottawa. Needless to say, Neil is going to be my next contact for an interview about this international lifestyle. Neil also made a couple of interesting comments about global cuisine. He mentioned that the same culinary themes reappear across the globe. Chinese fried rice is essentially the same as Jambalaya which is essentially the same as Biryani, with a slightly different mix of spices thrown in. And the world's most popular cuisines are those based on the dishes of poor people. Neil insisted that we have dessert and we had Bananas Foster, which is a mouthwatering concoction of flambйed bananas with caramelized sugar and rum and some vanilla icecream thrown in with a twist of cinnamon on top. I was going to stay away from dessert, but Bananas Foster totally corrupted me. I wasn't going to worry about the extra calories since we are going to go skating on the Rideau Canal tomorrow anyways. At 10:30 every Friday and Saturday night Fat Tuesdays serves up the dueling pianos, a live show where the audience can request their favourite songs from two piano players. Today unfortunately the second piano player was significantly delayed, and given our packed schedule for Saturday, we were unable to stick around for the second piano player to show up. But virtuoso no. 1 played his heart out and really got the crowd going. The place was packed and everybody was in a great mood. So, it’s just past midnight now and I am looking forward to another action-packed day tomorrow: some skating on the Rideau Canal (to work off that delicious banana dessert), watching the famous Bedzzz Races on Dow’s Lake and then the Fire and Ice Culinary demonstrations at Confederation Park right across from our hotel. It is definitely time to get some rest for a big day and hit the hay……

Smoking a preventable cause of premature deaths

: Monch Bravante is a writer and advertising practitioner with special interest in public health issues. DrugstoreTM is a reputable online drug store. From sexual health to a woman's health, sleeping aids to weight loss pills, our online pharmacy offers convenient customer access to various health medicines, including an array of health product and medicare prescription drug. Buy Soma | Buy Tramadol While there is no argument about the detrimental effects of smoking to the respiratory and cardiovascular system, it remains to be a most common habit which many people find very difficult to break. The danger and hazards that smoking poses to our health are being taught in schools, discussed in the media, and even condemned in churches. Cigarette smoking leads to a lot of troubles in the end for smokers rather than the satisfaction and pleasure that they are supposed to derive from it. According to Ernest Dichter, author of “The Psychology of Everyday Living”, smoking is as much a psychological pleasure as it is a physiological satisfaction. Smokers reason out that they get a sense of satisfaction from a cigarette which they can't get from anything else. He believes that the nature of this psychological pleasure can be traced to the universal desire for self-expression. “None of us ever completely outgrows his childhood. We are constantly hunting for the carefree enjoyment we knew as children. As we grew older, we had to subordinate our pleasures to work and to the necessity for unceasing effort. Smoking, for many of us, then, became a substitute for our early habit of following the whims of the moment; it becomes a legitimate excuse for interrupting work and snatching a moment of pleasure.” The author offered a great deal of analyses and views in his report as supported by studies he had conducted on several hundred respondents and commented that the psychological pleasures derived proved much more powerful than religious, moral, and legal persuasions. In the United States of America, cigarette smoking is the most important preventable cause of premature deaths. The risk of developing several chronic disorders is higher for those who smoke cigarettes as compared to non-smokers. These include fatty buildups in arteries, several types of cancer and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (lung problems). Atherosclerosis (buildup of fatty substances in the arteries) is a chief contributor to the high number of deaths from smoking. Many studies detail the evidence that cigarette smoking is a major cause of coronary heart disease, which leads to heart attack. The statistics are staggering. And in spite of efforts to disseminate this information to the media for people to have a full grasp of the magnitude and dangers of smoking, smokers seemed to be unnerved and the habit of smoking continue to spread rapidly particularly in African countries where the highest increase in the rate of tobacco use among developing countries is noted by the UN. No amount of warning, preachings, or repressive measures can seem to destroy the power of cigarette-smoking. What is sad is the fact that powerful individuals and institutions like the manufacturers and the advertising industry even lend support in the promotion of this deadly product. In desperation, we ask ourselves: What will stop people from smoking cigarettes? Having considered all the psychological explanation, and the unique pleasure and satisfaction smokers derived from this much contested product, I believe that it all boils down to self-discipline and knowing what’s best for your health, for others, and for the environment. What more education do we need as human beings? Finally, if smoking is considered to be “the leading preventable cause of diseases and deaths” in the US, then, it is at least encouraging to know that it is PREVENTABLE

Renters insurance

There is nothing difficult about the subject of rental insurance but it is something that can affect anyone that has rented equipment in the past even a house, apartment or anything that does not belong to them but could still become damaged. If you don't have renters insurance then you could be liable for the replacement costs and any extra damages. For instance, if you don't own your own home, and are renting instead, you may think that you're covered by your landlord's insurance policy. The fact is, though, that you're not; a landlord's property insurance covers damage to the structure of the property itself. To cover the replacement costs of property that is damaged or stolen it is renters insurance that the occupants need unless they can afford to pay out of their own pocket. You may be liable for any damage done to the apartment or house you're renting as a result of fire due to your negligence. Renter's insurance has another benefit which you may not have considered. If someone is hurt or injured while on the property you are renting, you may be legally responsible for that person's medical expenses, not mention attorney fees if there's a dispute. This means you are covered for that person's medical expenses, legal costs if they should decide to sue, and any damages they might be awarded. Although some people are covered when they rent a car, this is not always the case so if your auto insurance doesn’t have this facility as part of the cover, you will need to arrange this yourself unless your credit card provides auto rental insurance cover. For the cover it supplies, collision damage waiver is not expensive at anywhere between 7 to 13 dollars per day which you have to admit is a lot less than the cost of a brand new can that may need to be replaced. Only two areas of renters insurance has been covered here but it can be obtained for just about anything that you rent and it doesn’t matter if you are renting a motor home to a luxury yacht. Renters insurance provides a peace of mind and that has got to be worth a few dollars a day, whoever you are. Renters insurance costs can vary as your location will be taken into account just as any additional personal items you may want to add to it for example plus the amount of the deductible organized. Take a look around before you decide on what company to use and try looking on the internet as discounts are often found there and adjust the deductible amount until the insurance premium is within your budget.

The 3 things you need to know about golf swing instruction

Like most weekend golfers I'd love to be able and play every day. Of course it doesn't happen with everything else in life needing attention, I settle for playing on weekends and sneaking out of the office early for the odd weekday 18 holes. If you're reading this then I can only assume that also like me you've struggled to shoot the score you really strive to, and are ready to take action and learn the skills needed to do so. Personally I fought with trying to break nineties for several years, I would shoot the odd match over 100, but most of the time a consistent 92-96. I'd hit bucket after bucket of balls with my driver, just not understanding why I couldn't transfer those beautiful shots on the range to my game. The AH-Ha moment for me was when I finally decided I couldn't teach myself how to get better and I need to find some quality golf swing instruction. I tried taking golf lessons to help improve my game, although it really wasn't up my alley. How ever when I stumbled on a set of video golf instruction DVDs by a pro who specializes in instructing weekend golfers to reach their max potential I was intrigued. The remainder of this article is dedicated to the three things I realized as I went through learning the DVDs and improving my golf game. Leave the technical play to the Pros you learn how to swing consistently The first important point I want to mention is this, golf pros spend a lot of time practicing. They have a mastery over the technique of the game and have a confidence level that they'll make every shot that you and I can only dream of. It's important to realize that it's ok if you don't swing the same as Tiger Woods or other players on the tour. As weekend golfers we need to know our limitations and play within those. This was very apparent to me when I was being critiqued at my first group golf lesson. The teacher was trying to explain to me how a particular pro would do their back swing, to me it didn't make sense to try and emulate a pro when I was not one. From there forward I set out to find an instructor that could provide me with quality beginner golf instruction for a player at my skill level. The driver is not the be all end all of the game Remember how I mentioned above how I would whack an entire bucket of balls at the driving range with my driver, only to discover I couldn't emulate the same swing or drive when I was playing a round with my golf buddies. This is a common issue many of us have, when you swing the same club over and over you will tend to get a consistency about you. The darn thing is when we're playing we don't hit our driver fifty times, hopefully on a par 4 or 5 you hit it once off the tee and then it goes back in the bag until the next hole. So why the heck do we start hitting our driver when we're at the driving range? Personally I think it's an ego thing or at least it was for me. Next time you're at the driving range give this a try, consider you're playing a hole on your favorite course, imagine the layout and the club selection you'd make for each shot. Hit your driver first, or what ever club you'd normally hit on that hole. Then grab the club you'd use for your second shot. If it's a par 5 maybe a long iron, or a fairway wood. Do this right up to the green then start over. This will give you more practice with your varying clubs rather then just hitting aimlessly when you could be having a great practice session. Full Swing, Chipping, Pitching, and Putting When I used to play a round of golf I really only had one swing I used besides my putter of course. Although I never really thought about each shot on a hole as a different part of the game. The fact is though they are different parts of the game. Once I began watching and learning from golf instruction videos I began to see that the setup and mechanics of a pitch or chip shot was very different from that which I used with my full swing 200 yards out. Once I began controlling those short game shots I saw up to a dozen strokes per round fall off of my score. Then I started spending time with my putter at the practice range, making putt after putt after putt. I saw another 4 or 6 strokes per round fade away. Treating the game as separate pieces really helps improve your consistency and score. As mentioned before don't spend all your time on just your long shots, spend equal time developing your short game and putting. They do make up over 50% of the strokes you take in most rounds, so they deserve the attention. It was these three realizations that brought me to the next level in my golf game. Once I began treating every hole as separate parts, and learning the required skills to be good at each part my confidence grew. I knew every shot I was going to make (did I make every shot? No but I had the confidence to not doubt myself). If you're frustrated with your performance, or seem to be stuck and unable to break through a particular barrier with your handicap I suggest looking into golf swing instruction, and if at all possible focus on each part of the game. Your full swing and driver, short game, and putting.

Kissing tips make a kiss more passionate

Kissing is something that most couples do. Kissing well and with passion, however, is far less common. All too often, people fall into boring ruts and monotonous techniques that make kissing an undesirable prelude of more exciting activities to come. This is especially true for couples who have been together for awhile. To keep kissing fun or to rekindle the flame that was once there, observe the guidelines below. 1) What you do right before a kiss will set the mood. Gaze into their eyes and pay your sweetie a romantic compliment. 2) Hold your partner firmly, but gently in your arms. Put one arm around their back and put the other around the base of their head. 3) Occasionally, put both of your hands on your partner's cheeks to intensify the moment. 4) Kiss other places than the mouth. Add variety and intimacy by breaking away to kiss the cheek, forehead, neck, or anywhere else you feel is appropriate. 5) While maintaining a slow rhythm is essential to establishing intimacy, occasional bursts of intensified and quick movements (with tongue and hands) lasting several seconds will increase the passion. 6) Break the lip lock every few minutes to make a compliment about your partner's kissing ability, passion, or how sexy they are. 7) Location will determine the intimacy of the moment. Don Juan, himself, would have trouble creating a sensual moment in a busy school hallway with people walking by. Isolated areas are the best place to unleash your passion. 8) Use your hands to freely caress your partner's body. You can caress the hair, stroke their back, etc.

Plan your move 6 8 weeks prior to your move

Planning your upcoming relocation starts 8 to 6 weeks prior to your move date. This is when you would like to start planning ahead and prepare for the move day. The following guidelines will walk you through the basic preparations that require your attention. Book Your Moving Date with a Moving Company. Choosing the right moving company is a process that takes some time. You will have to compare quotes from different companies and take in consideration price, experience, and reputation. When you request a quote, be sure to provide your relocation representative all the necessary information regarding your move needs: 1. Origin and destination information including: address and all other aspects such as stairs or elevator, truck parking, etc. 2. Packing services and packing supplies. 3. Unpacking services and debris removal 4. Accurate pick up and delivery dates. 5. Storage requirements 6. Any need for vehicle transportation. What Goes and What Stays? Whether you are moving locally or interstate, your moving cost will be determined according to the amount of possessions you are moving with you. Usually for local moves, price is based on an hourly rate while for log distance moves the price is calculated by your possessions weight or volume. This is the right time to start downsizing your move as much as possible. If you know how your new residence looks like, sketch a floor plan and try to fit your belongings in it. Visualize the space and think about furniture placements. Keep in mind that there is quite a difference between the average apartment sizes in different states. After deciding which items you are not taking with you, you will need to choose what to do with these items. Here are some options: 1. One great opportunity to make money is to sell old stuff in a garage sale. 2. It is always a good idea to help others and donate your old belongings to those who need it. Schedule donation’s pick ups for 2 weeks prior to your move date. 3. Give away stuff to friends and family 4. Dispose of items that cannot be reused. Packing and Packing Supplies If you choose to pack yourself, this is the time to start gathering packing supplies. You can purchase all these materials directly from your moving company. Most companies will also free deliver packing materials if you choose to buy from them. Be sure to purchase boxes that are specially designed for moving and relocation to prevent any damages to your belongings. Oversized boxes can contain more but are often not strong enough to protect the packed items from damage. For more information visit moveeast Free guides are available

Hair dryer shopping guide and buying tips

: When purchasing a hair dryer you may want to first take a few minutes to consider all the different types available. There are many different styles and types on the market today to choose from that it makes sense to shop the variety before making a final decision. Depending on your individual needs you want to take some time to see which of the many different hair dryers would be suitable for your hair type. The different structures of hair like for example curly hair, thin or coarse-hair are just one important fact to be considered when choosing a hair dryer. Even your favorite hairstyle may play a role when choosing the right tool for hair styling. If you are a person who loves to travel or who has to travel quite frequently for business, you may take a look at the styles available that are suitable to travelers. Conair hair dryers are no doubt one of the most popular hair dryers today. They carry compact Conair hair dryers that you can take with you while traveling. In order to save space, the wall mount dryer units become more and more popular with many people. These units allow you to keep your hair dryer handy at all time, while saving drawer and cabinet space. You may find some of these units in fine hotels and luxurious resorts. There is no reason however why you should not have your own unit at home. Among the more popular wall mount hair dryers are the Jerdon and Oster brands, among others. They can be fixed securely and safely to your bathroom wall away from water and wet places. The Bion wall mount hair dryer comes even with a night-light. The Bion ionic tourmaline hair dryer will dry your hair quick and easy, which is perfect when you're in a hurry. Here are 3 points to keep in mind when purchasing a hair dryer: 1. Don't ever buy a used hair dryer. This item is often displayed in second hand stores and yard sales. As with all electrical items you need to be cautious when buying second hand. If you have to use your hair dryer quite frequently, it is always safer to buy a brand new model. 2. To keep your hair healthy and vibrant, when styling with a hair dryer, keep your hair conditioned regularly. Use a good conditioner! This will help you to keep your hair shiny and prevents hair from getting brittle. This is important especially when using chemicals such as hair colorings. Always use a moisturizing shampoo along with your conditioner. This will help to restore the needed moisture for your hair. It will help to make your hair soft and healthy looking. You may choose one with a natural blend of herbs such as chamomile, rosemary and nettle. These ingredients are some of the best natural herbs known to keep hair healthy and strong. 3. Before buying your next hair dryer take a look at the website shown below and just spend a few minutes and compare the different models. As mentioned earlier, consider your type of hair and your hairstyle when choosing the model that will best fit your lifestyle and your hair. Some will dry your hair faster with higher heat settings than others. The advantage of this is that you can dry your hair quickly. The disadvantage is that it will also tend to dry your hair out faster. No matter if you are a person that travels often or if you are a person that needs to save some space, there is something for everybody.

What wedding djs wish you knew about choosing one

Wedding couples are frustrated. DJs are frustrated. There's a disconnect here. But what exactly is the problem? It depends on who you ask. DJs continually wonder why brides and grooms treat the mobile DJ -- the type who lugs around his equipment to show up at big events and weddings -- as a commodity. In other words, couples price-shop ruthlessly, as if any given DJ were interchangeable with the rest. Paul Arnett ( mybigdaydj. co. uk), a Yorkshire DJ and NADJ (National Association of Disc Jockeys) member who organizes the UK's Mobile DJ Show North event ( djshownorth. co. uk), puts the problem like this: "Well, your average couple spends hours deliberating over the dress. You hand-pick the caterers. You pore over flowers and sweat over the florist. You spend hours choosing just the right venue and church -- not to mention the time spent on favors.' "But then, you go out and hire a DJ because he's ten dollars cheaper than the next one. Or he's a friend of your brother's, or he does Tuesdays at the local bar. You might never even see him work, check out his equipment, or meet with him personally to make sure he's suitable." Most couples handle every other major item in their budget differently. You don't choose one venue over another because it costs a hundred dollars less. Few brides with a budget to work with buy their cakes from the discount grocery store, even though that cake (slathered in tubs of "BetterCream" frosting) would be much cheaper than one from the designer bakery downtown. Instead, they investigate. They take pictures. They taste-test amaretto fillings and hors d'oeuvres. And eventually, they settle on the vendor who seems poised to deliver the best experience to their guests. -- Why Is It So Different With DJs? Part of the answer is an image problem, says Paul. "People perceive that most mobile DJs will turn up fifteen minutes ahead of time, with a couple of speakers and some cheesy circa-1970's light screens, and play 'Agadoo' all night." (For we lucky few who haven't heard it, the 1984 song Agadoo frequently charts as "the worst song of all time.") We all feel confident identifying an excellent meal or a sublime dessert. But few of us feel comfortable evaluating DJs in the same way. We know that a good one can "get the party started," but we're not sure how to tell a good one from a bad one. Some people think so poorly of DJs, they prefer to eliminate them entirely, soundtracking the dance portion of the night with iPods or laptops. This isn't easy -- it requires you to rent expensive sound equipment, find someone to mind the iPod, possibly buy insurance, and somehow get around or ignore the technical issues, like the inevitable three second delay between songs you get on an iPod. And yet some people find that preferable to risking the "Agadoo" or "Chicken Dance" scenario on their Big Day. An iPod might well be better than a bad DJ. But the DJ is a key part of your five-hour reception, and some of them are very good indeed. -- When She Was Good, She Was Very Very Good Perhaps it's hard for the average bride and groom to grasp the difference between a green DJ with low-end equipment, and a seasoned one who knows how to transform shy and retiring Clark Kents into dance floor superheros. The first may be nothing more than a glorified CD changer. He may or may not have a firm grasp of the different musical needs that accompany standard reception rituals, like the cake cutting or the father/daughter dance. He may lug in his entry-level Peavy subwoofers and arrange his sound system in ways that ignore your venue's peculiarities. The second may have emceed hundreds of weddings. Along the way, he's developed something subtle but important known as voice and personality -- not an imitation of some radio host's, but his own. He doesn't practice on your wedding; he brings his skills to it, along with a top-of-the-line sound system, which he'll arrange differently depending on factors like whether or not your venue is broken up into several chambers (the cocktail lounge and the banquet area, for example). If he's a gearhead, he might even offer specialty lighting abilities you might not think of, such as the ability to shine gobos on the dance floor -- gobos being customized templates that display things like your wedding monogram. Some DJs even offer giant video screens and live replays of key points in the reception. But the most important skills a good DJ will bring to your wedding is a honed personality, a formal-friendly image, and an absolute mastery of what gets crowds on their feet. Okay, so you get it. You understand that not all DJs are alike, and that a good one brings as much your wedding as any premium florist or baker. So how do you find him? -- Choose DJs that Take Their Job Seriously Skip the part-timers -- they're still learning the ropes, and they'll be practicing on your wedding. Instead, look for full-timers who show their commitment to the profession by belonging to professional DJ associations such as CPDJA, ADJA, & NAME, or NADJ in the UK. Paul adds, "Ask if they have public liability insurance (in case Grandma trips over a speaker wire) and PAT electrical test certificates (to insure their equipment is safe). This also shows they're professionals and not cutting corners." Meet with them in person, and take a gander at their sound systems. You might not know your Geminis or Peaveys from your Mackies or QSCs, but even a casual glance should tell you whether the DJ or company invests in good equipment. In fact, most will be delighted to run you through their top-of-the-line systems if you give them the slightest excuse. While you're there, take a look at their promotional photos and videos. Are they wearing tuxes? Do they look sharp? Does their sound stage sport garish self-promoting signs, or do they keep things discreet? -- Turn on Your X-Ray Vision Everyone has what it takes to pick a great DJ. You simply have to meet with them in person, and absorb what they have to offer. Paul says, "Talk to them -- their personality should shine through. While you're there, ask them what special qualities they can bring to their wedding. Ask how they're prepared to work with you to make your day extraordinary." The DJ should be happy to meet you, seem interested in the specifics of your venue, and ask questions. "Any DJ who seems phased or reluctant by any of this -- they're not the one. If your DJ seems bored, or gives you the sense you'll be just another date on their calendar, they're also not the one." -- A Coda for the Couple It's true with the cake, it's true with the steak tartar, and it's true for your DJ -- the final word is quality, not price. As Paul puts it, "When you look back on your wedding reception in years to come, do you want to remember what a fantastic time everyone had? Or do you want to say, 'Well, at least we saved some money on the DJ?'" Good DJs see themselves as part of the larger picture. They expect to work closely with your coordinator, photographer and videographer, and to custom-fit their setup to your venue. So hire a good DJ -- one who can help you tailor the night's entertainment to your individual wedding. "And see what they can offer to make your wedding function unique," adds Paul.

Gold a solid investment

Make no mistake, the currency crisis is coming. Rather than sitting back and letting it happen, protect yourself and profit from an economic upset that could basically render your dollars about as worthless as the paper they're printed on. We saw a preview of this kind of debacle quite recently. In early 2006 a currency plunge triggered an avalanche of sell orders in emerging markets from Brazil to Indonesia. The Icelandic krona plunged nearly 10 percent in only two days, dragging down Icelandic stocks and bonds with it and subsequently spread to Brazil, Mexico, Poland and Turkey. A precursor to this was the Asian Currency Crash of 1997, which sent stocks south like ducks in winter. Banks, insurance companies, real estate and bonds also fled the scene. The only viable option left was gold. In the event of another such decline in currency values, gold will be worth at least 10 times its current value. How is this possible? Simple: Since gold cannot be made or printed at the whim of greedy politicos, it can't be devalued as quickly as the paper money that is printed whenever need arises. When a currency is backed by gold, $1 in paper money has to be backed by approximately one dollar's worth of gold. Once a currency is no longer backed by gold, governments can print as much as needed. Naturally, most world governments have gone off the gold standard and that is why paper money has no intrinsic value. As a result, most major institutions only speculate short term between those currencies and associated local values, such as stocks or bonds, and then they convert their profit into gold. This is where we at Forex Super King excel. We specialize in global trading and diversification. Our money is made in both currency trading, where we average 1,000 pips (price interest points) per month, and U. S. small stocks that recently acquired dual listings with the European exchange. As a result, our clients can experience a short-term windfall from 50 percent to 400 percent by tapping into the heavy buying power of European investors with holding time from a day to a month. We then convert half of our profit every month into gold. We'll show you how to get set up so that you can hold your funds in several currencies, even if you only have $500 to start. We can also show you how to not only diversify internationally but how to trade the international markets as well as currency markets to realize substantial profit, short term.

They recently concluded a 12-month test where they measured the results of social marketing versus buying paid traffic to a series of 4 sites. Here is what they found… Using social marketing, they were able to generate over 93,000 visitors to their sites, paying an employee to do the social marketing work for a total of $3600 during that time, resulting in a total cost per visitor of 4 cents. Then they ran a one month test driving traffic from Google AdWords. Using that strategy, they obtained 2,057 visitors after investing $1,250 in click costs, resulting in a cost per visitor of 61 cents. Plastic surgery do not believe the hype

When is a beautiful model in a publication not really a beautiful model? When someone has played funny with the image! You read magazines. I read magazines. We all read magazines. We all think the same thing: My God, there are some beautiful people in the world. Or are there? Of course, there are incredibly beautiful people in the world. The uber couple of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are just one example. Many of the photographs you see in magazines, however, are not exactly accurate. This is also true for the Internet. The massive improvements in software over the last 10 years have led to some interesting developments. In this case, we are talking about digital editing software. Editing software is all about touching up photographs. Prior to the digital revolution, this meant images would get small changes to correct minor imperfections. In the digital age, it is fairly shocking models are actually employed any longer. Using basic desktop programs such as Adobe Photoshop, one can mold a body into practically anything you want. Hair can be made longer, shorter or a different color. Noses can be made bigger, smaller, wider, darker or lighter. Prefer the model to look insanely thin? Just start pointing and clicking. The same goes for any part of the body. If a photograph does not have the correct lighting for a magazine cover, it can be corrected using software. Is there anything wrong with this? Yes and no. On one hand, there is not law against touching up photographs to fit a marketing position nor should there be. There is, however, an indirect downside. Many people view these images as a goal for their personal appearance. When considering plastic surgery, you must be objective about the potential results. It is highly unlikely you are going to look like the model in your favorite image. Heck, the model did not even look like that until undergoing a bit of editing! Plastic surgery has come a long way, but it has its limits. Plastic surgery is designed to enhance your personal appearance. That being said, it is important that you have reasonable expectations. Forget the images in magazines. Sit down with your plastic surgeon and get an opinion from them regarding what you can expect in regard to results. If those results sound attractive, go ahead. If they don’t sound like enough of an improvement, then surgery probably is not a good option.

Rejected worker stakes internet claim

I always thought if I worked hard, I'd be employable. Back when I was twenty, it never occurred to me that by age 47 the world would consider me washed up. But it did. The work-a-holic hours and the "valuable" experience didn't ensure me a place in the workforce. Unemployed for six months, I finally decided to just give myself the lofty title "Internet Mogul." At this point, that's a complete fantasy; I'm not even remotely qualified to call myself that, but it sure sounds nice. Much better than "workplace-reject-beggar." Besides, I have faith in myself even if no one else seems to. So I cleaned the softball-sized dust bunny from my computer and typed "how to make money on the Internet" into Google. Holy Crap. A mountain of information was now at my fingertips. Too bad most of it wasn't worth the electricity it sucked up. But a Mogul (with a capital M!) doesn't give up. So I plodded through, sorting the scams from the hype from the just plain crazy. Somehow or another, I have to make this work. The dog's hungry...and so am I. The definition of "being hungry" changes with age. We're born, and it means, "give me milk so I can survive." We reach adolescence and it means, "bring me a hot dog…and lots of friends, status, dates, cool clothes, a hot car…" We enter the job market and being hungry translates into, "bring me challenges and riches, excitement way beyond the need for mere nourishment. Challenge my creative spirit, reward me with expensive toys, giving me tangible proof so I can flaunt my talents on the world stage." Geez, it's embarrassing to admit, but after my "distinguished" career, (translation: twenty-five years as a cog in the wage-slave wheel) the phrase reverts back to just the basics. I'm hungry to fill the cupboard with food so I can survive. I'm not worried about satisfying a creative drive and I don't require riches, just enough to keep a sturdy roof over my head. The same basic needs my dog has. Luckily for her, she's clueless that the piece of lunch meat I'm sharing is getting harder and harder to replenish. It's now been nearly a year without a paycheck. Survival in the economic world. Remember the TV commercial for the large financial institution that praised the American spirit by claiming, "most people want to succeed, not just survive." True, true. But how exactly do you define success? Unfortunately, reality forces many hardworking people into being grateful for mere survival and realizing that to survive IS to succeed.

What s a sales culture

Hopefully you've taken the time to clarify the roles of your sales team and sales management. It's a valuable exercise. Now you get to assess sales team strategy and culture. Regardless of your methodology half of your sales representatives currently perform below average. Fifty percent are performing below average! Think about that. This is an indisputable fact. So why even assess the team? Simply put, to sell more. Successful selling organizations consist of three components; investment, activity and results. The first component is the investment in the sales team. The investment is measured in compensation, benefits, computers, software, training, hiring, meetings, sales material, phones and other related expenses. The second element is the activity of the investment. Face-to-face meetings, travel, preparation, telephone calls and administration comprise the second element. The third, and vital, component stands alone; results. How many sales were generated? Profits? Current market share? The glue that binds the three distinct parts includes your people, culture and customers. Is there a career path for salespeople? What is your turnover rate? Who are the sales heroes? What is driving the team to achieve? The best sales managers and sales teams recognize four productivity drivers. 1. Sales research-information related to market trends, target markets, customers, trends, etc. 2. Investment and organization-size, structure and deployment of sales team allows you to get the right people at the right place at the right time. 3. People-selection, training, managing, motivating, evaluation and termination. 4. Sales systems and processes-compensation, incentives, benefits, internal support, etc. Tests and surveys remain the most effective way to assess salespeoplepanies rarely assess sales management instead relying on results to determine effectiveness. A successful selling organization operates in a progressive culture. What's a culture? That's best answered by the following story. Six apes were placed in a room with a ladder. A bunch of bananas hung from the center of the room. One ape started to climb the ladder for the fruit and the entire room was showered with cold water. This happened a few times until any ape that wandered near the ladder was beat up by other apes. A new guy replaced one of the original apes. The new guy, wanting to be a hero, headed for the ladder and received a thorough beating. He learned not to go near the ladder. Eventually every one of the original apes was replaced. The beatings continued. The replacement apes were unaware why they were prohibiting others from going near the ladder. They just knew the ladder was off limits. That's a culture. Are there any new apes on your team following old practices without knowing why? Cultures evolve over time and their origins are rarely known. Does your sales team have a culture? I bet it does. Is it a good one? Sales cultures consist of three elements: Ё Norms-how individuals actually behave. Ё Values-how individuals should behave. Ё Work styles-diligent, tardy, professional, thorough, detailed, casual? Changing negative cultures represents a significant challenge but is mandatory…if you want to stay in business. People are the agents of change and must be supported by management. Who are the heroes of your sales team? How long have they been the department hero and for what reason? Knowing these answers will help you assess your culture. You must first formulate your vision of the sales team and evaluate all key contributing factors. Great companies communicate their vision clearly and frequently with all sales related personnel. Don't leave anyone out that comes in contact with your sales team. Next, you must put your vision in action by rewarding individuals for acting in concordance with your vision. This is a process not a destination but as it evolves your sales will increase and profits will soar. This takes courage. You need to ask and answer tough questions. Dedication to a better selling team is required. Don't give up until your vision is clarified, communicated and leads to rewarding the winners. "Only the wisest and stupidest of men never change." Cameron mallet putters the red x and futura phantom and two limit edition cameron models

This article will discuss several putter product lines offered by Scotty Cameron and Titleist. These will include the two lines of mallet putters, the RED X® series and the Futura Phantom, as well as two limited edition putters. RED X® Mallet Putters As is the case with many of Scotty Cameron’s putters, the mallet head designs of this line are very sculptured looking and pleasing to the eye. There is at once a certain boldness in the designs but also a simplicity as well. One wonders if Cameron doesn’t do sculpture on the side. The newest putters in this series, the Red X3 and the Red X5, are just being shipped to Titleist retailers as this article is being written in mid-September 2007. Both of these putters are milled from 303 stainless steel, and they have a black anodized sole plate as well as a glare resistant charcoal mist finish. Cameron has used this glare resistant finish on a number of his putter designs for 2007. All the mallet putters in the product line have a single alignment line. The differences between these two putters are that the Red X3 has a traditional shaft with a ј shaft offset obtained by a single bend in the shaft, and that the Red X5 has a full shaft offset and a plumbing neck. Both have the standard 4 degrees of loft and 71 degrees of lie angle, and they both come in lengths of 33, 34, and 35 inches. For left-handers, only the Red X3 is available in a 35 inch length. The older members of this product line are the Red X and the Red X2, and there are a number of variations of these. There are belly putters for both models, called the Red X Mid and the Red X2 Mid, and there is a long length putter called the Red X2 Long. These putters were designed in 2003, and Cameron did a lot of research with different materials to obtain the best feel and sound possible at impact. The heads are made of stainless steel, and there is an additional face insert made of a different type of stainless steel, and the insert is given an elastomer border which helps give good feel and sound at impact. The difference between the Red X and the Red X2 is in the shaft configuration. The Red X has a single bend one shaft offset and the shaft connects to the putter head about half way between the center of the mallet head and the heel. There is no shaft offset on the Red X2, and the shaft connects to the mallet just behind the middle of the putter head. All the putters in the Red X line retail for $300. Future Phantom Mallet Putters There are two putters in this product line, the Mallet and the Mallet 2. The difference between the two is that the shaft connects to the mallet head at almost the center for the Mallet 2, whereas for the Mallet putter the shaft connects closer to the heel. There is no shaft offset for either putter. As the product line name implies, these putters have a very futuristic and stylish look to them. Behind the flat putter face is a stainless steel back plate that has a five-line alignment configuration. Behind that is a semicircular bar which gives the putter its mallet shape. It is obvious from simply looking at these putters that the weight has been redistributed to obtain a high moment of inertia, or MOI, which provides forgiveness on off-center hits. The putters come with the standard loft of 4 degrees and standard lie angle of 71 degrees, have no shaft offset, and are available in lengths of 34 and 35 inches. The Mallet 2 is only available in right-handed models. The materials used to produce the mallet heads are 661 aircraft aluminum with a stainless steel back weight, as mentioned above. Both putters retail for $300. Limited Edition Catalina Classic This is a classic putter design with only about 2000 pieces produced. The head of the putter is made of carbon steel and is coated with the charcoal mist anti-glare finish which also increases the putter’s durability. There is a single aiming line on the back center flange, and the grip is a soft stitched leather. Teryllium Ten Limited Edition Teryllium is a copper metal made from 12 different alloys, and it provides a soft feel and good sound due to the thick copper insert. Cameron released the first teryllium putters 10 years ago and is following up with an updated version. The sleek black look combined with the copper metal color, as well as the putter’s shape, make it a really beautiful instrument. Soft hand stitched leather grips are standard. The two mallet putter product lines offered by Cameron and Titleist, the RED X® series and the Future Phantom mallet putters, offer an exceptional range of choices for golfers who are sold on mallets. I have used a mallet for years because it let me hit solid putts on a consistent basis. For the golfer who has everything, the two limited edition lines provide unique putter choices as well.

Many people buy their first digital camera but have absolutely no idea how to use it. There are many options available for learning how to master digital photography, such as, for example, the internet. The internet certainly has many sites available to help you understand your digital camera and find answers to any questions you might have. There are many books available on using a digital camera, taking photographs and editing them. Many people find they learn faster and it is far easier for them when they have one-on-one lessons instead of reading a guide. Digital photography lessons are the answer for these people. Digital photography lessons are great for anyone that is interested in photography as a hobby, or even for people considering it as a profession. 5 Steps to releasing emotional clutter

Be Clutter Free! 5 Steps to Releasing Emotional Clutter If you imagine that life is a journey we are all on. Some of us have a destination in mind, we have a map and all the equipment and money that we need to get us there. Some of us have no idea where we are going and few resources but we are perfectly content with that, we just want to have an adventure and enjoy the journey. On our travels we can encounter challenges that slow us down or change our course. Sometimes we let the challenges get us down, they make our journey less enjoyable and sometimes the obstacles stop us altogether, we feel stuck, unable to continue on the journey at all. This is what emotional clutter does to us. This article is about how we can deal with those challenges and obstacles. Step One: Identify Your Emotional Clutter Start a list of your gripes, moans, fears, anxieties, complaints anger, anything that springs to mind. Allow as much time as needed on this and keep adding during the week as other things crop up. The most important thing to remember here is that the purpose of the exercise is to identify not to immerse yourself in negative emotions, to unearth what’s there so that we can shine a light onto it. So don’t dwell on the negative feelings. If you do get emotional or bogged down, take a breather, go for a walk, a sleep, read, watch tv and come back to the list later on. It’s important to be honest even if you feel a little uncomfortable. When I did my list there were some feelings that I felt very guilty about. Step 2: How Would You Like to Feel? Now comes the juicy bit – the bit that starts to unstuck the vile sludge of negativity. Take each one of your moans in turn and write exactly how you would like it to be and why. Get into the feeling place. Even if the things are in the past or you feel you can’t do anything about them, it doesn’t matter, just identify how you would have liked things to have been. How you would like things to be now. Keep all your language positive, about what you want, not what you don’t want. It’s important again to be very honest. What do you really want? It does not matter if it seems to be in the realm of fantasy. This is your Well, What Do I Want? list. Treasure it. You will be adding to it and using it to build more positivity. You have taken your first steps on your new journey. Step 3: What ‘Could’ You Do Now? Go back to your Well, What Do I Want? list. Take each item in turn and ask yourself this question: In order to fully release my negative feelings and embrace the positive intention that’s here, what could I do next? It’s important to understand that it doesn’t mean that you ‘have’ to do something it just means that you ‘could’ do it. It’s about opening the possibilities up. About opening the door and shinning the torch in. There is no pressure here, no list of ‘must do’s’ Some of the things that come up will be practical, others emotional. Here are some examples from my list: •forgive him •forgive myself •get a gardener •enjoy the chocolate •write a letter •ask for some advice All that you need to make sure is that all the possibilities are ones that would make you feel good or better in some way. It very likely that by now you will have new impetus and resolve to take positive steps. You may have a strong desire to look forwards rather than back. Go with it and enjoy yourself! Step 4: Time for Action? Finding ways that we could declutter our emotions is liberating and makes us feel more positive. Taking positive actions is even more powerful. Which item on your list could you do first? Which item on your list could be the easiest to do? Which item on your list could be the most powerful to do? Take the steps you need to start making yourself feel better. Step 5: Releasing Unconscious Emotions This step encourages us to look at the next level of our emotions: the unconscious. Are there areas where you feel very stuck and nothing seems to create a shift for you? Becoming an Observer By becoming the observer of your own feelings you will come to a greater understanding of yourself and be better able to let things go as negative emotions release their grip on you. I first came across the notion of being an ‘observer’ in Thresholds of the Mind by Bill Harris. Bill calls it, Finding the Witness. The idea is that …. “part of you observes what is happening even as it happens. When you observe in this way you feel as if you are standing outside yourself and observing how you’re feeling, what you are doing, and how you’re interacting with your environment.” You learn incredible amounts about yourself by doing this and after a really short space of time you begin to have a greater understanding of your emotions. This gives you choice. Become an observer. What do you learn? Learning EFT Another technique which can really help to clear unconscious blocks is EFT. This stands for Emotional Freedom Technique. This is free for everyone to learn and can be truly miraculous so check it out at: emo-free. What’s wonderful about this technique is how easy and completely emotionally painless it can be. One Final Word There are many professionals that are there to help you release emotional blocks and I would strongly advise that you seek this help if you are struggling on your own. Psychotherapists Kineisiologists Psychologists Life Coaches Counsellors Spiritual Guidance If you feel you have serious emotional problems start with your GP who will refer you. Above all, enjoy the journey! Have a wonderful life: emotional, physical and spiritual. Clear that clutter and enjoy!!!!

Low voltage landscape lighting design

You spend all that time creating a masterpiece garden that the neighbors will envy. Ooops. You just realize you forgot to install the landscape lighting. The best time to plan a good landscape lighting design is when you are planning your garden layout. Landscape lighting design can be a simple lighting layout or a work of art blending nature with artificial light, incorporating color, shape and texture. You choose. What looks ordinary and dull during the day can be transformed into rich color during the darker hours of night. The nature of landscape lighting demands versatility. With a wide variety of different surfaces and objects to be illuminated the type of light and its placement needs to be considered very carefully. Gather Your Ideas Go over your garden design and decide on the objects, plants or trees you want to highlight with. If you have one prominent feature in one part of the garden such as a large tree or a sculpture then you can concentrate your lighting on that object and have low level ground lighting surrounding it in the rest of the garden. On the other hand you may decide just to scatter general low level ground lighting in amongst plants of the same height which will create a flat effect but will give you a rainbow of color. Floodlight or Spotlight To help you with your landscape lighting design there are typically two lamp and reflector types. The wide angle lenses are used to flood a surface with a wash of light where a narrow angled lens is used for laser-like accuracy to put a spot of light on an object. Flood lighting works best by positioning it under leafy shrubs and trees. By doing this the floodlight will create shadows within the foliage and spill out onto surrounding plants. If you are trying to light a very large tree you may consider several floodlights to get an even spread of light. Spotlights work best if they are correctly positioned and aimed at the feature you are trying to highlight. A good way to get this right is to temporarily connect the spotlight and move it backwards and forwards until the right amount of light is highlighting the feature. Color Color is an important consideration for any landscape lighting design. The most common source of light is white light. When white light is used it generally brings out the true color of the surrounding plants and objects because it contains all the visible colors. By using colored filters or sleeves attached to the light fitting, colored light can be used to emphasize the natural color of the surrounding plant foliage. Colors such as yellow are useful to use as it is a warm color and brings out the best in the wood of trunks and branches. Reds and Blues are also very popular colors to use. Textures with Water. Nothing in nature is smooth or symmetrical. With this fact in mind, light that is aimed at an angle onto rough textured surfaces can play an important part to your landscape lighting design. With the added element of moving water such as a fountain or waterfall, flickering shadows and reflections can be created. These are very soothing to the viewer. Glare. To See and not be seen. When locating the in ground light fittings in your garden try and hide them away from view by using rocks or other features. There is nothing worse than ruining a perfectly good landscape lighting design by having all of your light fittings visible. Normally the light source or lamp of the fitting is not guarded and will create glare. Avoid this at all cost.

Don t become a mortgage industry crisis statistic

It's no secret that the U. S. housing marketing is having one of its largest slumps since the early 1980s. Pick up a newspaper or turn on the news and you are inundated with a daily report of more foreclosures, people falling further behind on their payments and a general souring of the entire housing and mortgage market. However, even during this downturn there are those who are continuing to buy the home of their dreams and taking out mortgages to help finance that dream. How can the savvy consumer make sure that they are not caught up in the mortgage crisis and not become just another statistic? By examining the type of house and mortgage you want to take out, as well as doing a little planning before you make the plunge, can mean all the difference in the world between making it or falling into the ever-widening black hole. One of the reasons the mortgage industry is being hit so hard right now by defaults is that credit standards were relaxed to the point that many people who in a normal marketplace would not qualify for a mortgage were granted the loan. To their credit, some of these people are maintaining a stellar record and are on their way to owning their own house. Yet for many others they quickly got themselves into a situation where they could not financially afford the mortgage they were in thanks to adjustable interest rates and buying more house than they could afford. One thing anyone who is looking into buying a house should ask themselves is how much house do they really need? Americans have tended to buy bigger and newer, which raises the cost of a typical house considerably, especially in areas where land prices are high. A mortgage company is not in the business of determining how much house you need - they are only looking at your financial ability to repay the mortgage. Though you may be able to squeak by and get approved, how much is that larger house pushing you to the edge where one slip and you fall behind because you cannot afford it? Of course, it goes without saying the better your credit the lower your interest rates. Even in times when lenders tighten their credit criteria for lending new loans you will always benefit by cleaning up your credit before you buy a house. Ever quarter of a point you can lower your interest rate can translate into tens of thousands of dollars of potential interest you do not have to pay. Speaking of credit, make sure that you are putting down as much as you can possibly afford towards a down payment when you go to purchase a house. The more you put down the less likely mortgage lenders are going to require that you buy insurance on the loan. Typically, you should aim for between 10-15% of the home's value as a down payment. Again, for every dollar you put down towards the down payment on a house now, the less interest you will pay in the future - not to mention unnecessary insurance payments. Mortgage lenders want to see that you are serious about buying and paying for that house before they give you the best deals.
